Conference excursion to Espoo (half day)

A half-day (9 - 14) guided tour to Espoo, will take you to Otaniemi campus, famous for Alvar Aalto's and Raili and Reima Pietilä's architechture. The tour will continue to Tapiola. A visit to WeeGee Exhibition Center will follow, offering interesting museums of modern art and cultural history. After a tasty lunch the bus will take you back to Helsinki center.

Conference excursion to Tampere (full day)

Tampere is known for its museums and well preserved industrial heritage sites set by the riverbanks. Our hosts will be Museum Center Vapriikki and the Finnish Labor Museum Werstas. Exhibitions & discussions with professionals "behind the scenes". Guided city sight seeing and walk by the riverside.
